Hyderabad, September 13, 2026: Around 200 engineers and scientists were felicitated at a special ceremony held in Hyderabad on the occasion of Engineers Day 2026. The event, organised at the G.P. Birla Conference Hall, BM Birla Science Centre Complex, Adarshnagar, brought together professionals from engineering, science, technology, education and public service sectors.
The programme was organised by the Scientists, Engineers & Architects Wing of Brahma Kumaris, in association with Brahma Kumaris Peace House, Hyderabad, under the theme “Honouring the Nation Builders.” The event focused not only on recognising the contribution of engineers and scientists to nation-building but also on exploring how scientific and technological progress can be complemented by human values, inner well-being and spiritual awareness.

Representatives from All India Radio, NGRI, NTPC, VCT, Osmania University, Avanti Engineering College, DRDO, SCCL Kothagudem, St. Mary’s Group, GHMC, RTC, ECIL and other organisations attended the celebration.

Dr. Ramana Naik, Chairman, Institution of Engineers, Telangana State Centre, attended the programme as the Chief Guest and extended his greetings to engineers on Engineers Day.
